Jen's baby is here!

Jennifer Garner has a new alias now -- mommy. Us Weekly has reported that the Emmy-nominated actress, also known as Mrs. Ben Affleck, has given birth to a baby daughter in Los Angeles. According to the magazine, Garner had labor induced on Wednesday night (her official due date was December 8), and at press time it was unclear whether the official birthday was November 30 or December 1. What is known is that Affleck was by his wife's side during the entire procedure, and according to the magazine, the little girl's name will be Violet.

I agree. Plus it looks like Vaughn's really gone. Michael Vartan's name has an "end date" on IMDB -- but I wonder why they felt it necessary to completely expunge him from the Alias records (on the official website). What really happened ... in retrospect, it was a very foolish plot "twist" to kill him off -- especially since the end of Season 4 was getting really interesting. I smell something fishy (er, personal) going on ... or maybe I've just been reading too many tabloids.

On a gratituous side note, I wanted to be named "Violetta" when I was little. Always makes me laugh when thinking back on it, esp. because of the mental association with Violet Beauregarde (you know, the blueberry girl from "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory").

LOL, Violetta is so romantic sounding. When I was little I wanted to be named anything but Madeline, until I read a book where one girl was named Madeline, and the others were named Brett, Ashton, and Virgilia. It made me LOVE my name.

You know, they have to give Syd a happy ending, since the show is ending. Right? I mean, she's gonna have a baby on the show and all, and that has to be a good thing, right? I mean, unless the baby is abducted by a resurrected Rambaldi and is used to make a clone army to take over the world ... it has to be a happy ending. :P
