Sep. 24th, 2006 08:57 pmI have obviously been way, way too spoiled by my own church, because now I don't like anything, not even the Catholic church here. I guess going to the same church all your life will do that to you.
Ollie, Chelsea, Amanda and I went to St Augustine's today... the priest, whom they called a pastor, looked like a shorter and heavier Papa Gilmore, which was odd, and he seemed nice enough, but they sang everything and they sang strangely, and the church was little and communion started from the back instead of the front and there was a guy in the row ahead of us who smelled like he'd taken a shower in beer, and was sleeping through most of mass. Let me just say no one like that would've ever come to my church.
Then Amanda, Ollie and I went to lunch at Chili's, and then we went to publix, where I got a swiffer and some carrots and some pretty yellow lilies for my room. After we dropped Amanda off, Ollie and I FINALLY saw Little Miss Sunshine, after about a month and a half of talking about it. It was pretty good- I was very impressed by Steve Carrell, which is unusual, as I don't really like him. And I don't like Toni Collette much at all, and that continued. I would like to like Toni Collette, honestly.
Now I have five massive chapters of IR to read and about half of the math homework ever assigned to me to complete before Thursday, aaaand Brothers and Sisters is on tonight at ten!
ETA: No, guys, seriously, make me do homework!
