Jan. 23rd, 2006 06:33 pmSo, today, I stamped all my cards to go out, because, you know, two cent hike on stamps. So, I pick out pretty stamps- Audreys and Carys and Lucys and paintings and candy hearts, adding merrily the little navajo jewelry stamps of two cents.
Then, looking carefully, I see that the stamps I put on some of them 34 cents instead of 37. So on Tess's, Hannah's and Toque's cards... they're retarded and have a whole slew of necklaces on 'em.
In other news, today in TOK I had the startling revelation that I would glady marry Ben Affleck. Let me assure you, no one is more stunned by this thought than me. Mrs Scott was showing us another scene from Boiler Room, and Ben Affleck strode in, wearing this alarmingly gorgeous blueberry oxford and was totally this hot badass and I was like, um, hi, I would so be Mrs. Affleck, alcoholism and all.
And then I was smacked again with shock as I remembered who was Mrs. Affleck!
None other than my favorite little girl in the whole wide world!
Let me tell you, that was stunning.
This week's challenge for Alias500 is mythology. I'm kind of thrilled. The only thing I would like better would be religion.
ETA: Got a letter from UCF. They're offering me the "Pegasus Bronze Scholarship," which is $5200 a semester. The one caveat is that I need to send an answer in within a month or request a deadline extension. Which I'll have to do, because I will go to UCF if I don't get into UF- but I'd rather go to UF and not get any money.
