sunshine_queenToday was a bullshit day, as I had substitutes in three of my classes and, starting tomorrow, will have four. It's like all the IB teachers decided to bail. For example, tomorrow? I have substitutes all day long. How crazy is that?
There's this thing going around at my school. I heard about it from Gabby on Friday, and gave her specific instructions NOT to tell me any more details, because I was terrified. Then today it was all anyone talked about at lunch.
Supposedly, there's this website called something along the lines of "ask pedro" and if you ask it questions and believe in spirits, it answers you. Correctly. As in, Philly asked what her dog's name was, and he replied: Maxou. She asked for her boyfriend's name (Erik) and her best friend's name (Adriana) and it replied correctly. Carlos said that when he was asking where he was, it replied that he was holding a glass of water, which he was. When he asked another question, it said instead "stop taking pictures." Sebastian had been behind him, doing just that.
I have a pretty liberal view when it comes to spirits and the like. Ever see the Wizard of Oz? When they're walking through the woods, and there are signs to "beware of Spooks"? And the Tinman was like, shyeah, right, whatever, spooks don't scare me- and then the spooks picked him up and then dropped him? And the Lion started saying "I do believe in Spooks, I do believe in Spooks, I do, I do, I do, I do, I do believe in Spooks"? That's my attitude. I don't know if they exist or not, but I'd prefer not to be picked up, so? I do believe in Spooks. That said, Pedro has said to two people that he was going to be under their beds that night, and Carlos said the TV started making noise, and Pedro said "I'm in your TV."
Which means I am absolutely torn as to whether or not I should investigate this. I mean, dude. On one hand- it can't be real. On the other hand- OMG WHAT IF IT IS? And do I really want to mess with it? Me, who won't even play with a Ouija board?
