May. 7th, 2006 01:30 pmAnd on Wednesday's Alias, it says that Sloane is haunted by ghostly visions. And I hope that these hauntings are like, Shakespeare-scale type things with Nadia. I hope it's all out out, damn'd spot and omg batshit crazy Hamlet and Macbeth. Because I am vindictive. However, yaaaay Mia Maestro! Although I can't help but hope it's the haunting in the grand tradition of Emily in Season Two. Like, not so much with the dead. Oh, Nadia, LIVE!
Also, and I don't know why I still haven't mentioned this- did anyone else catch that Sloane is back in his old house, the one he had with Emily? As in, THE ONE HE DIDN'T LIVE IN LAST SEASON?
On Friday we went to see Seussical the Musical. Now, I have been told I have no soul, and this is proven by the fact that I don't like Dr. Seuss.
That's right.
The Cat in the Hat? OMG. Hate. Can't tell you how much I hate him. Why? He's always getting everyone in trouble! And they're trying to get him to leave them the hell alone... and the Cat screws things up anyway. Ergo? I hate the Cat.
I also hate rhyming. Oh jesus.
Seussical was a mix of a lot of his stories, most of which I never read. It included the adorable Getrude McFuzz (oh man, the actress who played her was younger than my sister, and she was so good,) Horton the Elephant, (who was my second favorite, and played by Javier, which is the reason why we were the only high school there) and some other characters. Such as Mayzie. And I hated Mayzie. The actress who played her was good, don't get me wrong, but dude- she got knocked up, explained this, and then abandoned her egg to Horton's care! Abandoned! Just like that! And then when the egg hatched, it was an elephant bird! It was SO WEIRD.
The musical itself was weird- I read on the Wiki it didn't too well on Broadway, and a lot of it had to do with the actual music. Which was... okay, I guess, but some of the tunes were really weird. In addition to the storylines! Oh, man.
Aside from that, I had a lot of fun with Chang on that trip.
I really should prepare for my english exam, which is tomorrow, and about the plays. Like, I should reread the plays, or something. I think I'm picking A Streetcar Named Desire and Hedda Gabler, because when it came right down to it, those were the two I hated the least.
Yesterday I went to dinner with my parents at Panera, where they told me that had I gone to FIU, I would've gotten a car. Which was news to me. And probably good that I never heard it. Because I could've always transferred.
I don't know how I'm doing my hair for prom. Woe.

Date: 2006-05-07 05:39 pm (UTC)- I have no soul because I didn't understand the point of RENT, and I only really liked three songs, and I hate "Seasons of Love."
- ...why would you have gotten a car if you went to FIU? The cost is all the same for you, right? Nothing extra to go to UF? And wouldn't a car at UF make sense, so you could drive yourself home?

Date: 2006-05-07 05:56 pm (UTC)- Ha, you too? I didn't get the point of Rent either, because it boiled down to "people whining about paying to live somewhere... even though everyone else does, too." And I HATE Seasons Of Love, but I've grown to like at least five songs.
- No, because my parents have to pay room and board at UF, and if I'd gone to FIU I'd be living here, so cheaper. And having a car at UF would be dumb because parking's a bitch, and I probably would be too scared to drive home anyway. I can get rides home with my friends, or take the bus, which is supposedly amazing.

Date: 2006-05-08 08:04 am (UTC)Basically, I never cared for Dr. Suess very much and I'm sure if I reread his stories now I would want to stab things.
