My mother is actually injecting Febreze into the couch. With an actual needle and syringe and all that other shot-like goodness- to inject our couch with Febreze.

The day is young, but I am officially one-fifth of the way done with my 1character sentences! That's all kinds of fabulous! Baby steps.

(Although, seriously, I better start approaching the dearly departed fic like a science project. In that I have deadlines for certain pieces. Like... plot. Fleshed out plot. 250 words. 500 words. 750 words. 1000 words. Title. Or else what happened for SpySanta is going to happen. Or worse yet, what happened with the Nack ficathon, wherein I managed to write exactly none of what the poor girl asked for because no matter how hard I tried for it, I had like, two days and no ideas. Poor thing.)

Speaking of Nack, I got Ollie to read it, because she made me read this depressing House fic even though I don't watch House and have such! big! issues! with the name "Cuddy." Honestly, if I can't call Dana "Scully" I would not be able to call someone with the perfectly acceptable name of Lisa "Cuddy." Because that name irks me. Anyway. And Ollie was saying... saying she didn't understand Nack! And I had to at least try. She says she understands, but the brilliance was blocked by the social ideas of incest and whatnot. Foolish, foolish limitations.

Also, a very happy birthday to yahtzee63, who writes the brilliant Nack and other marvelous things.

Hehehe, I love you. And it is a slightly discouraging name, isn't it? Although she appears to be the coolest thing about House. Granted, I've only watched it like twice, but both times, that's the conclusion I've reached. So it must hold some weight!

If... If I knew how to do that damn community linkie button thingie you know I would, but you can find it in my communities- it's called 1character, and it's like 1sentence, only for single characters instead of couples. So I, of course, am doing mi querida Nadia, because I adore her. And you get THREE!!!! months to write FIFTY sentences. As in, one. ONE SENTENCE. With an option of having another month if you don't think you'll finish. It's insanely wonderful. But difficult.

It's a horribly discouraging name. Cuddy. Ugh.

Well, if the couch would stop being dumb and accept the febreze the right way, my mother wouldn't have to resort to such Derevko-like methods.

Ahahaha. That's kind of awesome, what with the Derevko-esque cleaning methods and such. (And kind of piques my need for some crazy fic about how Irina-as-Laura really kept house. :D) I was just lecturing my mother today about how she has to be more like Irina Derevko, because when I leave she's just going to have two stupid men bossing her around all the time, and she shouldn't take that anymore! Did a stupid man ever boss around Irina Derevko? I think not. Except, I guess, Rambaldi, but whatever, THAT WAS A CLONE.

I can't not be hung up on J/I. Especially after it was slaughtered so mercilessly. My poor SpyRents!

Yay! I was really starting to feel as if I was the only one who wasn't crazy with the Nack love. The way Madi talks about it, you'd think it was the Buffy and Spike of Alias... or something.

Although she appears to be the coolest thing about House.

She is!! Well, I really love Hugh Laurie. I really want to have his babies. Much love for him. But, still. Cuddy is my favorite thing about House. She's so wonderful. Even though I think the first season was better to her than the second. S1 Cuddy was funnier and wittier. S2 Cuddy was mostly just bitching to House the whole. Which is still fun to watch, but she wasn't as word-kinky... But I'll have to wait until the S2 DVDs come out to say for sure. [/rant]

I can't even tell you how much it amuses me that "Cuddy" bothers you that much... well, almost as much as it amuses that your mom is injecting the couch with Febreeze.

But yes. CUDDY. So, you don't like "Scully" either then? ... And I think it's important that she's "Cuddy" 'coz then in those cute House/Cuddy fics, when he actually calls her "Lisa" it's like OMGAWWWWW!

And, true, yahtzee63 does write great Nack stuff, even if I don't completely get it. A very happy birthday to her indeed!
