sunshine_queenI'm home, I'm home, I'm home!
It was really, really long this time, mostly due to traffic. We stopped first at Nica's house, where our entire families met for the first time (miraculous!) and we had Mexican food and watched Gilmore Girls and stuff.
Then we drove for a million years and drove through Charleston, which was absolutely gorgeous, and then we stopped just outside of Savannah, but still in South Carolina, for the night. And then after another million years of driving today, we got home. I literally watched eight episodes of Alias, and in the past three days, I watched all but four episodes of Season Two. That was fun. Except for when bad things happened. Like Emily dying and Mommy betraying Daddy.
I was about to type that my iPod had died, and I was going to cry, but Ollie fixed it! SHE FIXED IT! She is brilliant and I love her.
That, and I am ecstatic about the whole idea of the big giant Alias set. I was going to preorder it tonight, but my mom is making me wait so she can check out the damage on the credit cards from the vacation. It's going to be like, a big Christmas present or something, but it is absolutely necessary. I am totally excited.
I need to write the fic Tess requested from me for her birthday! Yikes.

Top Five Sydney Bristow moments
This was so insanely hard I cannot tell you. Like, this list is so superficial and no where near close to anything resembling my actual top five moments, mostly because I don't think I could pick five, and also I'm trying to have it just be Syd alone, and not Syd with Vaughn or Syd with someone. Other than the moment with Daddy. Because.
5. Double Agent: "It's Michael. From the bank." And she's back there, pointing at Vaughn all excitedly, like, it's him, I told you he was hot cute, and he's here! He's my boyfriend! Aieeeee!
4. Spirit, as Vicky King. "You don't know this face? You don't know who I am?" It's so fabulous that she manages to do crazy talk to buy herself time.
3. Beginning of Phase One: "What was wrong with the black one?" ... I think it's self-explanatory.
2. The Counteragent, the entire thing involving killing Sloane to save Vaughn. While she hates Sloane with everything in her, Syd isn't yet at the point where she can just blow people away without her conscience acting up, so she looks so... so subtly devastated when the ambulance takes Sloane away, and then so partially relieved when she sees that the snake is still alive at SD-6. And sure, it's part "goddamn, why won't he die? haaaate." but it's also relief, because Syd is good.
1. Mirage, when Syd is dressed as Laura and Jack tells her that he's quitting the CIA because he hates being away from his daughter, and Syd gets choked up.

And there's no McDonald's on campus. And IT SUCKS. Not that I ever really eat McDonald's. But, I get a yearnin' for a McFlurry every now and again. Frosties are not my friends.
I had no idea that coño was spelled like that. Hm. I just never really thought about it before. I say expressions in Spanish that I don't even know what they mean. Hm.
