sunshine_queen: Tricia being fierce, as always. (Syd & SpyMommy- happy- nikegoddess_)

Okay, so, I've watched twelve hours of the Gilmore girls in the past two days. This is impressive, although no where near as impressive as my consumption of the first two seasons of Alias in three days.

Today Papa Gilmore cemented his position as my favorite person because he almost beat up Christopher's asshole of a father (named Straub for god's sake) in order to defend Lorelai. I love him. I'm not too thrilled with Christopher, forever. And the name Lorelai has grown on me like you would not believe. I am such a sucker. I used to hate the name Sydney, too. It's absolutely not fair.

I also started packing and stuff. And by "started packing" I mean, we got a general idea of what clothes I'm bringing (a lot) and books (a lot less than I expected) and shoes and belts. We washed my new sheets and my mom got me a rug and it's so weird to think that I won't be living here anymore. I won't even be close anymore.

To veer from that potentially depressing idea, and into another one, I want to go this a join birthday party Chang and Corinne are having on the beach, but I have no way of getting there and no way to get home. And even if I get a ride, I am a party pooper and will want to leave. I suck at life and don't know what to do!

So here's a poll.

I define night and evening by when it gets dark, which is probably crazy or something, I don't know. Now I want to take back my answers. But in general, I guess evening starts around 5 PM, and night starts around 7 PM. Because 5 PM is about when dinner starts, and it's usually over before 7 PM in most households, you know? This answer sucks.

It's too late to call someone after 10 PM, definitely, but I don't like when the phone rings after 9 PM. It's too close to a time wherein I may potentially be sleeping.

You claim to be watching Gilmore Girls, but I think you and I are watching two completely, utterly different shows. Oh, wait. You haven't gotten to season 2 yet. That would explain... everything. :P

Completely different shows? Because I said I'm not too thrilled with Christopher?

1. Yes. I love Christopher oh so very much.

2. Because you don't get Jess, and that's very upsetting.

3. You like Dean.

4. You like Dean.

5. You don't like Jess.

6. Do you at least like Paris? I'm not even sure if you're supposed to like her, but I think she's awesome.

1. Why?

2. It's also very logical.

3. Also logical.

4. He's pretty wonderful in season one, and in season three.

5. ... No one in their right mind does. You've always said you like fictional assholes.

6. I love Paris.

YOU LIKE DEAN AND DON'T LIKE JESS?!?

omg. And, yes, that was necessary. I actually deleted quite a few punctuation marks of horror! I feel you on Christopher, he's whatever bordering on an annoyance, but that does not make up for this blatant wronging of everything I believe.

I don't hate Christopher, I'm just not his biggest fan. My mom thinks he's real cute, though.

And please. I have yet to see anything resembling something close to attractive about Jess other than his pretty, pretty face. I can think of two times he's been cute or sweet (and that's one time cute, and one time sweet) and the sweet time was after he'd been a jerk. Which is his default setting. Jerk.

Evening starts once the sun is mostly set. Night starts a comfortable few hours after evening begins. :D

It becomes "too late" to call someone when I desperately want to avoid using the phone because I HATE THE PHONE.

Also, calling between 5 and about 6:30 is SO not cool.

Man, I hate using the phone too.

My mother thinks I'm weird because I will try all other forms of contact first because I think the phone is evil.

Well, a lot of people know better than to call my house, because the only one who likes the answer is my sister. Since the advent of caller ID, we let the phone answer, like, 90% of our calls. I'm better with my cell phone, but I will very rarely make the call myself. *shudders* Evil.

I get really bad when I have to call someone else. It's kinda sad, really.

I call people, but only ones I know are cool with it, around 11 on their cells. I'd say I really stop calling at 9 or a little after for just about everyone, because it makes me uncomfortable.

And evening starts at 5, I would like to change my answer. As soon as I hit enter, I was just like... no, Crystal, no.

(Don't fight the Rory/Jess, you crazy backwards woman!)

Yeah, same here, unless I knew them really well.

(Supposedly season two will change my mind. I highly doubt it.)
