She works hard for the money...
Aug. 2nd, 2004 05:15 pmWho is a working woman I ask you? Who? Moi.
Oh yes. Today alone, with only six some hours of answering phones, making corrections and typing and mostly reading Bel Canto, I earned $100.
The people, the Adamses, are really nice. They're a husband and wife who are EXTREMELY WEALTHY PEOPLE and lawyers and they have trust funds and trusts and all sorts of rich people stuff. I mostly was with John today, as Susan was working out of the office, but everyone's really funny and there's this other dude who works there, a lawyer named Manny, and he looked like Ralph Fiennes and smells like baked cinnamon apples. Le sigh.
Last night my sister stole the comp, so I watched 'Phase One', which I recap for Nita and Hannah (as they're the only two who care, or pretend to) after dinner, 'cause I'm starving and can't think straight.
