sunshine_queenSo, I'm watching the preview for Titanic on my DVD, and I watch the stewards of the White Star Line keeping the third class people behind the gates, and I'm actually thinking, "Wow, that was a poorly executed sinking."
Also, while this movie has like, a jillion faults (not that I will really condemn the movie for it, seeing as it's like, my favorite movie of all time) but the characterization of Cal is just... perfect. I mean, when Rose has been "accosted" by Jack, instead of being upset that, you know, Rose might have been accosted or something, he's all, how dare you touch my fiancée! How dare someone touch what was his. Oh, man, Cal is the best character in this movie.
That, and Victor looks so young and wonderful. Well, I guess Cal's the second best character.
(Also, my ability to recite this movie word-for-word freaks me out. It's been, like, eight years. Turns out I learned quite a lot of vocabulary words from this movie.)
(... in what world could Kate Winslet be considered seventeen in that movie? She looks, like, four years older than me and I'm almost nineteen and I need to stop analyzing.)
Turns out the purpose of university is to find a suitable husband. I must keep that in mind.
I once thought this was the most romantic movie on the face of the earth. I mean, honestly. Spitting together. Nothing says love like loogies.
Since LJ was out forever, I had a notepad open all day, so here are my continued thoughts of life.
I was going to delete some of my icons, because I have a staggering amount. Not that I have created any of them, as I have no photoshop- no, I just collect them. My last count put me over two thousand, and I'm kind of scared to count them now, so instead I just decided to delete the ones that, you know. I have a million of the same shot, or they're funky colors, or just otherwise things I'll never use... and I just can't bring myself too! They're my icons, my babies! (I have issues.)
I watched The Box Pt II, The Coup, and Page 47, and it's honestly freaking me out what Katie'll predict. Did anyone guess that Page 47 had Syd's face on it? I never would've thought of it, but Katie did. Just like she's predicted killer bees and zombies and clones and oh man. Alias sounds ridiculous when I talk about it that way. Poor crazy Alias.
