Today was good- I had dinner with my family and Tata and Becca, got nice presents, talked to a lot of people on the phone, got bombarded with happy messages on Facebook and LJ... so thanks everyone for wishing helping me celebrate my birthday!

I am so sorry that I didn't call you. I feel kinda bad about it, since we usually do that! Aww. Well, I'd be no fun on the phone because I'm all allergy-ridden (I am allergic to my own house!). But my mom and I had Cheesecake Factory last night (hee) and I was like, "It's Madeline's birthday" and she was like, "Did you send her anything?!" "I will, when she gets back from Paris..." "Did you send her a CARD?!" "Not yet..." "Did you call her?" "No..." "MONICA LEIGH YOU ARE A HORRIBLE PERSON--" "But I"--*makes typing motion with fingers*--"her!" "Ohhh. Okay. But still." :)

Then she tried to tell me that you and your dad have the same personality, and that Mel and your mom are the same. I quickly told her this was not true. What do you think?

You should get online so you can tell me about your presents. Actually (just tried to type Scully, sweet Lord), you should just get online in general, because it's 10 AM and no one is around (except apparently your sister) and you leave in two days and I won't be talking to you for a week+!

No, no, that's entirely true. I am very much like my dad, and Mel is more like my mom than like my dad. We all have similarities, but your mom was right.
