So, I'm home now, and glad of it, because it's like, 5 degrees in NY and I just couldn't handle that.

I have a test tomorrow in Spanish on stuff that was taught while I was absent, and while this wouldn't bother me normally, it bothers me that it's tomorrow. Come on, life. Hand me a break. I have Buffy to watch!

(Me: Omg, Buffy is for sale on iTunes. This is dangerous. And it's seasons one and two, which are the ones with Miss Calendar!
Monica: Why do you call her that?
Me: ... because it's her name?
Monica: Everyone else calls her Jenny.
Me: Why do I call Dana Dana?
Monica: I don't know.
Me: Exactly. Although Jenny is the perfect name for her. Jenny Calendar.
Monica: Dear lord.)

I didn't quite understand the Season Two finale of Buffy, whatwith Angel's demise and all, but where I am on Season Three, that lovely murderous boy is alive, so I'm sure all will be revealed. And I feel really guilty for wanting Giles to still be pining. I pine still. :-( Miss Calendar!

I love that you call her Miss Calendar. :D It just somehow delights me. And didja know that originally her name was going to be Nicki? A few years ago, I, er, bought a bunch of the season one and two script books, in pursuit of Giles/Jenny scenes and lines and stuff that had been cut, and in I Robot You Jane, her name was Nicki Calendar. Except then they decided it would be too confusing, because they called Nicholas Brendon "Nicky" onset, so they changed it to Jenny.

And I am possibly rambling about pointless Buffy trivia in an attempt to avoid my fascinating (except not) World Lit homework. Just possibly, though.

I sort of completely get wanting Giles to pine forever. Because . . . Jennyyyyyyyy. And originally in a season seven -- SEASON SEVEN -- episode he had a line where he mentioned her, all anguished-like, but they cut it, and this still devastates me to this day. THEY SHOULD HAVE KEPT IT IN. HE'S GOING TO LOVE HER FOREVER, DUH. DARE TO ROCK THE CONTINUITY, WRITERS. But noooo.

I did know that! But Jennnnnnny suits her so much better. I love her name and her lines and her style and the way she talks and her haaaair! Her hair is so fabulous! And the fact that her last name is Calendar even if it really isn't and that her real name is Janna-said-like-a-Y and that she was a technopagan and that she wore high heels a lot and liked football and definitely took the initiative when it came to Giles and and and I LOVE MISS CALENDAR MORE THAN ANYTHING AND YOU MUST HELP ME GET MY FILL.

To clear up your confusion: the reason Angel is alive in Season Three is because Buffy didn't kill him (twice-kill him? Whatever the term is for killing someone who's already undead...) as much as send him to hell, and hell let him back out.
