This is my life:

- packing to move (and failing miserably)
- being devastated that Cam and Chase Jesse Spencer and Jennifer Morrison breaking up.
- Reading "The Bourne Identity" and enjoying it immensely.
- putting a streak of unnatural red in my hair and immediately regretting it.
- getting a haircut tomorrow.
- swimming with my mom and sister.
- ... yeah, it's mostly Bourne stuff right about now. For example, my user pic is one of three four pictures that are almost the same, but not quite. One was used in the movie, one is on the official site, and the other? I just found it by luck. But I love them allllll because Jason and Marie is my new OTP and I'm so sad no one else is into like I am.
- loving the song "I Will Follow You into the Dark" by Death Cab for Cutie, despite the fact that it's a semi old song that everyone else in the world has heard but me, and I've never heard a song by DCFC that I've liked. I am entirely into this one.
- worrying about my schedule.
- worrying about my roommate, seeing as there is a real possibility that I won't have the girl I thought I would.

Umm... Sunday sounds great! Hopefully I'll be done unpacking by then. My mom and brother are dropping me off. But I told them that I wanted to unpack myself, because it would just be easier that way. (And coz I didn't want my mom going through my stuff.)

Found your journal randomly and just wanted to let you know that you are not the only one to adore Jason/Marie. They have been my OTP for so long now and I cannot tell you how glad I am to see someone else who loves them, as I'm fed up of everyone squealing about the supposed Jason/Nikki-ness. I'm just about to read the books, too, and can't wait. Jason/Marie forever! :)

By the way, think we could swap J/M pics? I had one which was my favourite and I lost it. I've got loads of others, though, if you want them.

That is so excellent! I hardly know anyone who's even watched the movie, so I'm thrilled to talk with you. And I mean, I can totally see the appeal of Jason and Nikki, and it actually was what initially intrigued me while watching the Bourne Supremacy, but when I rewatched Identity and Ultimatum, I realized how amaaaaazing Jason/Marie is. It is ridiculously amazing.

We can totally swap pictures! Just let me know how you want to do it.

I'm so glad to find someone else who recognises Jason/Marie for how great it is. The Bourne Ultimatum made me almost as sad as Supremacy as she was remembered, especially when Jason spoke about her.

Do you have high res photos? I have a few but I lost the high res version of my favourite. It's the picture you have as your default pic but it's a version where Jason's smiling, too. I don't know if you have that one. Anyway, if there are any you want that I have, I'd be more than happy to share them! What's the best way, do you think?

By the way, want to be friends and analyse the series to death? ;)

I am so glad they were very sure to include Marie flashbacks for Jason in Supremacy, because she really was a big part of Jason's life. And I missed her like whoa.

The only pictures I have are the ones that are available on the internet (albeit with a bit of searching), so like, ones from the Matt Damon fansite, one from the bourne series comm here on LJ that someone capped of Identity, and the four alternate pictures of my default. I'm new to the fandom, what can I say?

I'd absolutely like to be friends! I love analyzing things. I'm friending you right now. ;)

The flashbacks killed me! In the good way. If you ever want me to love and cry at a film, just use flashbacks. I find them to be such an emotive technique in film and tv.

Do you have the version where they're both smiling really happily? I had a high res version but lost it, now I only have a smaller version. Maybe we could organise a picture archive on the comm, or something. (I'm so glad people have joined the comm - I was worried I'd be the only one there talking to myself!)

Those flashbacks were totally a manipulative ploy to make me sad, and it waaay worked. I wish they had filmed new scenes, though. But I just want more Franka Potente/Matt Damon scenes.

The one where they're both looking away? I do have that. One of the girls on your brilliant comm made icons, so I went to her journal, and she had more, but of the alternate ending. I almost died.

We should totally put them up on the comm. It fits in nicely, I think.

And also, even if no one else had joined, I totally would've. Jason and Marie ftw.

It's the picture in the icon I'm using now. He's looking to the right, smiling, and she's smiling, too. I saw the icons! Sooo wonderful. :)

What do you think would be the best way to archive them on the comm? I'll look in to whether it has a photo album and how big it is.

Yay! I'm so glad. It'll probably be you and me analysing it to death half the time anyway! I felt we all needed a safe haven away from all the Jason/Nicky, to be able to properly love Jason/Marie :)
