It is the morning of the Oscars and I don't want to be doing my portfolio. At all. Please, someone save me.

It's not that the Oscars are very important to me this year. Although I just found out that Jen is going, so I'll have to keep the pre-show on TV. And she's on Ellen on March 14th, which is when I'm staying home. And Coop's on Regis and Kelly the 9th! Oh, the Alias stars.

3000 words isn't that bad, especially when some of it is work I've already done. I can do this.

I've been singing Rent songs all morning. God help me.

Rent songs are catchier than any other songs in the whole entire world. It's like a sickness. I'll watch it or listen to the soundtrack, like, once, and they will be there for about a week afterwards. Never stopping. I went one whole day with Light My Candle on repeat in my head. Ceaselessly. Possessing me. And, um, stuff like that.

It's scary. But the songs are so great that it's kinda okay.

We're having an Oscar party. Whoohoo!

Which means I should probably get my homework done.

Seriously? Lucky. I just love the whole soundtrack way too much. I was okay, because I never really listened to I'll Cover You or Santa Fe, but now I've started to and I think Cover Me is the cutest song in the world, and Madi, it's just never going to stop. I have concluded that Tango: Maureen, Take Me Or Leave Me, and Out Tonight are my top three favourites, though.

Duuude, I want to make Rent icons so bad, but I can't find caps anywhere! I wish someone would put them in a photobucket album rather than having them all for download, because downloading caps when you've got dial-up? Ungood. And also nearly impossible.

I used to get a lot more excited. But this time I haven't even seen Jen yet and no one I care about really is up for awards and I have this huge project, so eh, whatever.
