1. It is 83 degrees outside.

2. It's about -3 degrees in my room.

3. I have learned that the only way to make this place bearable is to turn off the air conditioning. Which goes against every belief I as a Florida girl hold dear, but whatever.

4. It's ten o'clock, and not only am I awake, I am dressed and fully functional and have already completed a class.

5. God help me, it's early.

6. TINA FEY IS MADE OF WIN. OF WIN, GUYS. "It'll be late at night, and I'm eating fistfuls of my daughter's cookies, and I'll be thinking, '... those other ladies are working out right now.'"

"And then what's-his-name had to go to jail again."
"Um, probably Tracy. Yeah, we keep it exciting."

I want her to win all ten of those emmys.

7. Guys, you don't get it. IT'S EIGHTY-ODD DEGREES OUTSIDE, and I am INSIDE, wearing a sweater and jeans and wrapped in a blanket. THIS IS NOT RIGHT.

Mornings are awesome, man. You feel so productive!

You are insane to be wearing sweaters in that weather. It's ridiculously hot here, and I'm moving in, and it sucks. But thank god my apartment has air conditioning -- folks are moving into the dorms tomorrow, and they don't, and people are going to get heat stroke and die.

- Mornings are in no way awesome. I don't think there should be a seven in the morning, only one at night.

- EW, none of the dorms have air? Gross. And you fail to comprehend how amazingly cold it is in here.

I like mornings.

I know, it's disgusting. Today it was 104 degrees and humid, and I have been carrying boxes around, and it sucks. And I have AC.

A grad student from China, who seems nice enough, but I haven't spoken to her that much yet. We shall see how it goes.

Because the scheduling gods are cruel. Like, I get the 8:30 class, and if I had a free period at eleven, I could go to that one instead, BUT I have french there. And while I'm going to end up transferring out of your class :( I really liked my grammar class. AND OMG KATIE WAS THERE. It was so awkward.
