When I was obviously operating under the assumption that I was a rational, intelligent being, I made a calendar of things I had to do daily in order to be on top of things for the upcoming week. The calendar has done exactly nothing for me, and I spent this evening making cake and watching movies with Melissa. Which was absolutely fun and delightful, but tomorrow I have to get up at 8 to go to work, where I am until three, and then at four I have a math review, and after that, I'm going to have to study/START MY DAMN PAPER and study more french and then finish the damn paper after the french test on monday and then start studying HARDCORE for math because THIS IS NO LONGER FUNNY.

Oh, epic fail.

But soon you'll be with me, so all will be well.

And if it's any consolation, I have two weeks of this crap to get through, so you can laugh at my expense next week.

I can't waaaaaaait to see you! Especially since 1) the play is back and 2) you keep finding these chocolate places. Where is the hotel exactly? And how are we going to figure out how to get around? And, most importantly, what are you wearing to the show?

The hotel is either the first or second on this list: http://mobile.hiltonfamilynewyork.com/ I don't remember which, but I know it's close to the theatre district. I've stayed in the first one, and it was really nice.

We'll get around by combining our collective skills at 1) map-reading 2) hailing cabs 3) navigating trains (and subways if you want, though I personally hate the NYC subway) and 4) walking. Unless you'd care to drive in Manhattan? :P

I have a black wrap dress that I never wear because I don't get dressed up often... are we going to play at being pretty and stuff? :D You?

Also, we will be doing bagels in Central Park for breakfast the day after unless you have any violent objections. I've never actually done that, and it's about time I did. :D

I once brought a croissant to Tiffany's. I am totally seriously. But bagels ftw.

Um, subways kind of scare me except in Paris, so sure. ;) -- Wait, hailing cabs? Don't you have to be all kinds of aggressive?

I have no idea what to wear. I don't want to look heinous, but I don't know how dressy I'll get. I guess it depends on how we're getting to the theatre.

You kind of have to be aggressive with cabs. Also, they are expensive... so I save them for a last resort, if it's cold or raining or crappy out, or I'm tired or lazy. And also again... NY cab drivers are insane, as I'm sure you've heard. I can tell you that it 100% TRUE.

We can probably cab to the theatre... depends on our dinner plans, I guess. We can figure it out. :-)
