So, true confession: I'm not wild about doing things I don't like to do that aren't mandatory. I kind of wish every class had points for attendance, because: it forces me to go. And that's good, because I'm lazy. Really lazy. Like, if there was an Olympic team for laziness, I would be too lazy to join, even though I'd win.
I've had a spotty track record with attending my earth science class, because it is boring as hell, I have the course pack, which consists of EVERY SLIDE OF EVERY POWER POINT PRESENTATION the lady uses, and... I don't have to waste 1-2 hours sitting in a lecture hall doodling on my notes because (A) I hate science (B) I'm not learning anything and (C) Everything on the projector screen is in front of me. But I go, cause sometimes she clarifies things a tiny bit.
But when the heavens decide to open up mid afternoon, and the weather report predicts heavy thunderstorms and gusty winds for the rest of the day, not only can I NOT DO LAUNDRY (*wail*) I will have absolutely no desire to trek to a class I don't really need to go to anyway.
So thanks a lot, nature. Thanks for helping me be all that I can be.
