Dear John McCain,

The chances of you getting my vote have always been slim to nonexistent. I've seen what the Republicans done to my country, and I have not been pleased. And yes, I have been exposed to plenty of Conservative arguments with intelligent people. People have exclaimed to me, oh, you're not as liberal as I thought! As if that were a good thing. If I thought that what you were working towards was something I wanted, then I'd vote for you. You're not, so I won't.

However, the smear campaign you are running makes me angry enough to actually vocalize my distress- and donate money to the Obama campaign. If you want to talk about 'more of the same' and 'old ideas' being Obama's problem, perhaps you should look more carefully at your own. And perhaps you should've been a bit more selective in your choice of running mate, because Palin's words are nothing special except in the amount of horror they strike into me.

I am so glad I can vote this year.

I couldn't agree with you more on everything you've just said. And I'm from Australia!

I think it's really interesting that you follow American politics. I'm so faily with it, unless it's France or South America I'm all "huh what?"

I guess I am because I find it so intriguing how two parties can so fearlessly attack eachother (but more so the Republicans on the Democrats). And it's a helluva lot more interesting and worthy than Australian politics, seriously they should all be shot.

I find many people here follow American politics and are interested in talking to me about it...it's one of the first subjects people bring up when they find out I'm American. It's a little startling because as you know in America it's not the most polite subject to just jump into when you've just met someone. But then again, your chances of finding a McCain supporter living in Europe the haven of socialism is pretty darn slim!

Back to why people from other countries are interested, though, is because it really does affect them. Some of them even said they think they should get to vote because of it!

Yep. Yep, yep, yep.

I'm the sort that probably is as liberal as people think (or more ;)) but yeah, I just donated to moveon.org because the lies McCain keeps telling have me seeing red. This is not the year to be screwing with us, I think.

Apparently me not being militant equates to me not being super liberal. It was a weird pseudo compliment. And then my uncle and my dad were all, wait til you grow up and get smarter. You'll understand then. To which I was like !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
