Even though it is late, and there is no reason for me to be awake still (good reasons being: interesting internets, people to talk to online, awesome fics, things of that ilk) I am absolutely in no way tired. This is crazy, y'all. What kind of a person can honestly say, at 3:43 AM, "Yeah, no, I'm not tired"? That is plain bananas.
In other news, I've had "My Sweet Lord" by George Harrison in my head for the past... three days? Randomly either my sister or I will start singing it- Mel does the 'my sweet Lord' part, I do 'hallelujah' or 'hare krishna'- and then it gets stuck in both of our heads. It's only plaguing me now, cause Mel is asleep. AS I SHOULD BE.
Also I would like to call attention to the fact that Samders and Thracerbelle are like, my second favorite couple in BSG. And from what I can understand, they are like the redheaded stepchild of pairings because they're not Lee/Kara. THIS MAKES ME SAD. For one thing, Samuel T Anders is incredibly hot. Surreally hot. As in, Kara Thrace was like, 'hm, I've got the hottest guy in the fleet interested in me, but I'm going to make sure someone else isn't still in this universe alive and kicking Leland's ass in attractiveness. Just for funsies, and comparison's sake.' And then she goes back to Caprica and FAZSHAM. Señor Anders in the house, scorching the screen with adorable hotness and being tall. (Can we also talk about how Helo and Samders are giants? I find it so much fun. Them, and people in the New Caprican alliance.)
[Sidebar: I just went to imdb to ascertain Trucco's height compared to Penikett's, and saw that not only was Trucco in an episode of SVU, he was in the episode of SVU I bypassed tonight in favor of some staging show on HGTV because I saw it when it aired. THAT HAS NEVER STOPPED ME BEFORE, BUT TONIGHT IT DID. The world is cruel.]
[Sidebar 2: Today I did have the excellent luck of catching the exact right part of Killer Hair/Hostile Makeover, the made for TV movie with two questionable yet interchangeable titles that has a cameo with Mary in it. I had already heard somewhere that she was only in it for literally a minute, but I was prepared to deal with it for as long as it took to catch it. Luckily for me, I put it on at 10:03, Mary showed up at 10:06 and was gone by 10:08. Perfect timing! I also got to see Mark Consuelos being not Mateo Santos, which always bums me out.]
Returning to the original point, I can't find any Sam/Kara icons. And this bums me out. They practically damn snuggled. And considering what a wild pony Kara Anne is, that's pretty rad. (Can we also discuss how Sam TOTALLY WON? So there, Lee! She married Samders, and that bitch is a sacrament! Haaaaa.)
I am clearly giddy with ridiculousness. GET TIRED, MADELINE. I need to not watch comedies with Mary and Elliott Gould from 1984 before bed. No matter how damn funny they are.

Battlestar caps by and large are very hard for me to triumph over because everything's so dark and moody. DAMN AND BLAST IT ALL!

E/R IS LIKE THE AWESOMEST SHOW EVER. I am enjoying it so, so much. I'm making my sister watch it with me. She enjoys it enough, but not as much as I do. Mary is so rad.
