(2) Got my hair cut today. I just wanted side bang, but as I tried to explain this to my hairdresser who only speaks Spanish, I somehow conveyed that I just wanted layers? Short layers? So first I was like, "oh shit, I'm going to wind up with David Cassidy hair." I panicked through giggles. Then suddenly I had a Farrah hair. And by Farrah hair, I mean I had this train of thought (thanks fandom!): OMG I have D'Anna's hair OMG I have disco hair OMG I have Farrah hair Wait I love Farrah hair yay! Then I had this awesome disco-y, feathery hair, and then Virginia like, fluffed all the feathering out. My hair looks good, it's just no longer Farrah hair, which is sad.

(3) superswank, yubsie and gemmi_joo, thank you so much for the Christmas cards! You're so awesome, already having them out. MINE ARE GOING OUT MONDAY I SWEAR, I SWEARITY SWEAR.

Ooo I'm getting my hair cut on Wednesday! I've had so much trouble with conveying what I want to hairdressers before too. In Grade 8 I asked this lady, who was Indian, to trim my hair which was long. What did she do? She started cutting off hair just under my ears! Oh my gosh, I cried so hard. It was the first time I had gone to the hairdressers by myself. Needless to say, I got a lot of money and free products that day, haha.

Oh jeez, that would be so traumatizing! Last summer I cut my hair really short, and even though I had made that decision, it was still really alarming when the first cut was made. I can't imagine having that done without deciding it.
