I don't know what about Katy Perry + Timbaland = ABBA for me, but listening to the If We Ever Meet Again chorus just makes me think it's ABBA. It's strange.

I wish I had more interesting things to post about, but my life is pretty dull right now. I'm back in Gainesville to work until my lease runs out, and while my job delights me regularly, I'm pretty sure it bores everyone else (my thoughts on work running something along these lines: I LOVE MY BABIES! KIDS ARE DARLING! HERE ARE SOME OF THEIR ANTICS! THEY ARE PRECIOUS AND PERFECT AND BTW I LOVE CHILDREN.) Other than that, I think I'm going to rewatch the early season of Bones, I'm rewatching BSG for my big "What Red Wore" retrospective- I am finding some interesting patterns!- and I love tumblr.

Oh gosh, to have a job that's delightful; WHAT'S THAT. I've found myself thinking lately that I would actually like to work with kids, but I have no faith in my ability to control them. But whenever they come into the museum it always makes me really happy! They're a wonderful break from old people. I feel so lame for not knowing, but what exactly is your job specifically? (dollsome, failing at friendship since ALWAYS!)

Also, you have made me wish I had more Bstar icons today. Curse-slash-thank you! Time to go a-huntin'.

I really am lucky! I work at a daycare that's part of my the university; but instead of being for everyone involved in UF it's just for the children of doctors and people who work in the college of medicine. The facility is really nice and new, and the kids who attend are between six weeks and four years old. I mainly work with the six weeks to nine month olds. Since I've been working there since last March, everyone knows me and I know my kids really well, so while it can be occasionally stressful, it's mostly delightful.

Find more icons! Then rewatch! I feel like your feelings towards the show would be so deepened and enriched by doing this.

I was considering posting it season by season, but I know that after season three Red Six's appearances kind of dwindle, so I'm not sure what I should do! I mean, I think everyone will be intrigued by how many times she wore the White Spangly Nighty of Rage, but I'm also kind of crazy.

Aw, I'm glad you are enjoying your job. IA, working with kids is pretty fun. If anything, it's a total trip and they keep things interesting.

I heard it for the first time a few weeks ago, and I just had it in my mind as 'that ABBA-like song' and then my friend said it was Katy Perry and Timbaland. But when she was on the MTV movie awards, and she performed California Girls I was like... did she mean Snoop? How... is this ABBA-like? Was I mentally ill? But then I realized they were two separate songs and now I am happy!

I love my job, and I really love the kids. I truly think they're so enjoyable and interesting and fun. I never realized until now how early personalities develop, and it's so neat!
