So, I got a twitter? I know, I'm like years and years late but that's how I roll. So if any of you guys are on twitter and would like to... follow me? I think that's the term- I am labellecylonne.

(I sound like I'm an older person just figuring out the internet, which is basically what I am. Also, it is NERVE-RACKING, picking user names. I suppose I'm just lucky I let Becca pick my LJ name for me lo those many years ago, or else I would still be sitting around debating what to put.)

LOL, I'm not really, but when new technology pops up I'm like OH MY GOD WHAT IS THIS I CAN'T EVEN and kind of flail around and finally embrace/learn to work it... years later. I'll let you know if the twitter experience is worth figuring out!

I couldn't think of anything, and the few I could think of- my favorite first/last name combo- IT WAS TAKEN. So then I tried other versions of my name- ALL TAKEN. SpyBarbie- TAKEN! So I was like WELL THEN FINE. 'Cylonne' wasn't taken on its own, but I thought it was kind of strange, so I added an adjective.

I added you! I'm go_boldly on there. Though I must tell you I haven't posted anything since June 1st, until just now anyway... (I felt like bitching about not enough people using LJ anymore. LOL.)

You sound just like me about user names! I get way too caught up in that so it takes me ages to sign up for anything because I'm agonizing over names. Though lately, I've been using "sine-qua_non" or "love-and-bullets" for almost everything. I signed up for LJ years ago,...actually it was back when they had invites only and a friend invited me. She asked me what name I wanted because she was going to set it up for me. I didn't really know what I was doing and just told her the name I was writing BtVS fanfiction under at the time...otherwise I would probably still be trying to figure out a user name for this! :)

Sometimes I think about changing it, but I've had this for so long it doesn't seem right somehow...

I have no idea how often I'll be using it, but I figured I might as well give it a shot.

I usually use the same combination of names- I think I'm Sunny Daze on like, every single message board I ever joined- or something with 'sunshine' just because it's what I've always used. But I feel the same way about changing my LJ handle, it just wouldn't feel right. My friend set it for when I was... thirteen or so (goddamn!) and now I'm kind of charmed by it.
