sunshine_queenLast year, writing my silly BSG Christmas fic got me into the holiday mood, this year it's... Mele Kalikimaka? I'll take it.
So, I'm home by myself for a week while my parents are on a cruise, and while talking about what I should do while they're gone other than luxuriating in my aloneness as a good introvert should (and not panicking that I'm going to be raped and/or murdered like a person who has watched well over a hundred episodes of SVU) my mother suggested that I make myself a birthday cake. To eat all by myself. I was like, okay, in what scenario does that not sound pathetic and sad? (But it is kind of tempting to make a big awesome cake all for myself. Without eating it all myself. Because that'd be bad.)

Finally, we had a trivia question the other night at Pub Trivia: What character does Edward James Olmos's real life son play on BSG? We totally got it wrong. We had no idea.

Date: 2010-12-06 12:56 am (UTC)They're taking a cruise of the Eastern Caribbean- Puerto Rico, St Thomas, Turks and Caicos and... somewhere else? I think? IDK they're gone until next Saturday. I should be okay with food, though, but I appreciate the offer. ;) COME VISIT ME INSTEAD.

BTW, I'm just warning you, if I can't think of something to get you soon, you're getting, like, housewares. My mom keeps suggesting it and I'm like BUT THAT'S NOT FOR MONICA IT'S FOR THE HOUSE but whatevs. GUIDE ME.
