Jun. 9th, 2011 12:37 amThe lovely
leiascully asked me questions for the COME AT ME, BRO meme, which goes like this: you say "COME AT ME, BRO" in comments, and I will ask you five! She asked me some really hard ones, too.
1. What are you going to say when you meet Tricia Helfer?
In my dreams: I will be witty, charming and truly a credit to myself.
Ideally: I'll be poised and polite and I'll say nice-and-not-creepy things.
Realistically: I'll nervously sputter out "hi," maybe get out a few anxious words, and then walk away and cry. MY MAIN GOAL IN THIS ENTIRE EVENT IS NOT CRYING IN FRONT OF HER, because that's happened twice.
2. If you could be the assistant to one person on The West Wing, who would it be?
Gracious, this is hard. Their jobs are all so hard! Probably Sam Sam the Sunshine man: easy on the eyes and he doesn't often seem to yell at his secretary. I would like to be Leo's secretary because I love him the most, but I'd be way too worried about ruining his life AND THE COUNTRY with silly mistakes.
3. You have an unlimited budget for one single item of makeup. WHAT WILL IT BE?
CONCEALER. Everything else is just icing on the cake if your skin looks like porcelain. If it was money for fancy stuff, I would probably pick eyeliner.
4. Who is America's Next Top Cylon?
HARDEST QUESTION EVER. I debated over this REALLY HARD before finally deciding on Lida, because she is the most magical looking.
5. Favorite thing to bake?
Chocolate cake. We have a recipe that we've always used and it is fool-proof and the best recipe ever and it's delicious. I also really like making challah now. I am finally good at doing a six-strand braid!

Ooooohhhh!!! I hear the goo bath is good for your hair/personality.
Ok, who's my model? Hmmm...I think it would be 8. Modeled after my kid sister whom had died on Earth I. I made her sensitive, funny, and childlike, but...maybe just a little too insecure. I had thought for her to be more as a companion to other models, someone that would welcome them home and help them with whatever they needed. She was never meant to go to war, she was meant to be family.
2. What's your favorite childhood memory?
Hmmmm...interesting. I think that driving in the car with my mom has always been my favorite thing. As far back as I can remember, my mom talked to me like I was a friend, someone to talk to, tell stories about the past and things that have happened in her life, her view of the world. Listening to my mom tell me about living back home is the things I loved the most.
3. What is your favorite moment between Kara and Lee?
I think it's in...Act of Contrition? When they're painting the 1000th landing helmet. I love them being relaxed and teasing with each other. The level of comfort between them at that point made me really believe that they'd been friends before, really close friends that were just happy to be around each other again (which sort of makes the finale a load of crap in certain ways). Most of season one is like that with them, and that's how I like them. :)
4. You're in a duel. What character from BSG would you pick as your second?
Kara. She's the best shot in the fleet.
5. What was your favorite book when you were a kid?
GAH! trick question!! I had lots of favorite books (like a Wrinkle in Time was AMAZING, and The Lion, the Witch, and the Waredrobe was great too), but right now there are three series that pop into my mind: The Babysitter's Club, American Girl: Samantha, and (wait for it) My Crazy Cousin Courtney.
Hee. Good times.
\o/
cheers.
