Okay, I'm officially creeped out. I clicked an obvious badfic on ff.n and DO YOU KNOW WHAT THEY NAMED SYD AND VAUGHN'S DAUGHTER?

Madi.

Like, spelled that way.

It was like, eerie. And a double-take moment.

Anyway, in this fic, Madi, the "four year old" talks like a seven year old and Syd and Vaughn, who are both American, speak like brits. Why I fully appreciate that the story was written by a brit (because her turn of phrase just ain't american, I say. it's different and british, and it's got a 'u' everywhere and yes, I am in tune to this.)

Watched the episode of XF with Peter Boyle. It was good. Not scary! I LOVE it when it's not scary. And I heart my Dana.

Just... savor that last line. Savor it.

HA. Now you know how I feel when I read HP fics written by Americans. It's wrong. There is no "Hogwarts commencement ceremony." Hermione does not write Ron. She writes TO Ron. There are no "colors."
