Sun, surf and breezes

Oh, how I love living in Florida.

Today, at around 10:30, Philly called me and asked if I wanted to go out on her boat. After asking Mumsy and Papa, I said HELL YEAH!

So I spent the afternoon with Philly and her family and Erik. I tried water skiing and was completely and utterly unsuccessful, but at least I tried. Virginia's hair-do is gone, but I had FUN!

When Erik was skiing, Philly's mom suddenly goes (in this awesome French accent): "So, Madi, tonight's the big night, huh?"

And I rack my brain frantically wonder if Philly's been lying to her mom about me, or if I'm forgetting something huge, or WHAT THE HELL IS SHE TALKING ABOUT when i remember that they also watch Alias and they're talking about the finale. "Yes!" I squeak, and Philly reiterates my obsession, and I tell them about the whole January BS and yeah.

I'm not burned yet! It's so nice. And I came home and showered and now I'm clean, and it was nice and breezy and warm... *sigh* I love Florida.

Ahhh, I remember that song. And the video. Unfortunately, not who sang it. *scurries over to google* Shawn Colvin is the artist's name.

And I am envious of your day. :D Except the whole trying water skiing thing, since I'm sure I would cause some sort of permanent damage to my body if I attempted it.
