Jan. 9th, 2005 10:50 pmI got the song!
The song the Alias people played when Syd went to find Beach Bum! Gira in Argentina. "A dios le pido" by Juanes- a.k.a the song my friends were obsessed with.
On the other hand, my year apparently sucked.
Take the first sentence from the first post of each month of 2004. That's your year in review.
(didn't start LJ until March)
March 2004: That's it. I'm going over to LJ, plain and simple.
April 2004: My (current) designer dream has come true.
May 2004: Okay. My computer is practically dead, which means that I am online for precious little time, if ever.
June 2004: Better to be a fake somebody than a real nobody?
July 2004: In NY. It seems overkill to LJ right now, as I am using a written journal- which is a lot more convenient than I thought it would be- and vented last night for a while to Nica and Hannah.
August 2004: The joy I get out of writing this blurbs is immense, truly. And sad.
September 2004: There is NO SCHOOL TOMORROW.
October 2004: "This watch belonged to my father. It's broken now, but it used to keep perfect time. And when he gave it to me, he said, 'You could set your heart by this watch.' It stopped October first- the day we met."
November 2004: Got the first X-File tape, as I recently found out that there is a whole colony of X-Files tapes at the library. Yay.
December 2004: There are people in this world who dislike Barbra Streisand. Like, totally, absolutely do not understand it. I grew up with Barbra. There is no one greater than Barbra.
January 2005: Strange and crazy things are going on at the Alias icon communities.
