• 5. Christian/Satine- Moulin Rouge

 

           

Favorite scene: The Come What May montage, wherein Satine gets to be all cute and normal with Christian, and they can hang out and be unangsty and sing! Sing their little hearts out!

 

• 4. Han and Leia- Star Wars

 

           

Favorite Scene: Like puggywuggy , the kiss on Bespin. They've escaped from the Empire! They're away from the Rebels! Leia is bereft and bad things are afoot- and what does Han do? Kiss her on the forehead and tell her to relax. It's sweet, and it's just the sort of thing Han would do.

 

• 3. David and Maddie- Moonlighting

 

          

Favorite scene: Probably, like everyone else, the scenes in Witness for an Execution. Poor David's on the run because he thinks he needs to go "Underground" for something he didn't really do and the poor thing's so scared and Maddie doesn't want him to go and they kiss goodbye! And it's really cute. And they soooo love each other.

 

• 2. Jack and Irina- Alias

 

        

Favorite Scene: Oh, wow. I mean, this couple is just... beyond anything. Because Victor Garber and Lena Olin are the God and Goddess of Amazing Acting. But one of their most fantastic scenes- and there are ever so many of them- was in A Dark Turn, when they were on the plane, and Irina thanks Jack for raising Sydney. It's just so beautiful and underplayed and later they finally get it on and it's just beautiful, but for right now they're still all hurt and lost with one another and :-(.

• 1. Syd and Vaughn- Alias

        

Favorite Scene:  There are honestly just too many. Originally I picked my old favorite scene- from Truth Takes Time, when Sark shoots Vaughn and Syd goes down and she's super worried but he's okay and she leans her head on his shoulder and then kisses his forehead... yeah. Almost that. Then I thought, oh, gom. Tie Sex, from The Second Double. Cutest scene of ALL TIME. They're together, they're making out, they're unangsty, they're young and in love and really, really beautiful. My mind continued to wonder to The Telling, when two years have past and Vaughn comes in and Syd leaps at him because she love love loves him and she's all freaked out and scared and in Hong Kong, and he's all, gom, it's my baby, and yeah. It's awful. I happened to ask my Ma what she thought, and she said, the dancing in the train station from Tuesday. So that's the pic I chose.

Aww, OTP-ness! Satine and Christian! They're so old school. And yet still so beloved.

I need to watch the original Star Wars movies again, because I don't know my Han/Leia like I should. I recognize the greatness, but . . . I think it'd be kinda cool to be able to recite their conversations.

David and Maddie are fan-frickin'-tastic. And, yep, Witness for an Execution. So pretty.
