If Syd winds up having a boy, I will be both very irritated and very amused. Because the world at large is already set on Isabelle.

Today was good- no stomach ache, and Holmes was very appreciative of my CRAZY mark-ups of 'Daddy' and 'Cut.' I am soooo into Sylvia Plath it's crazy.

This whole college thing is really starting to weigh on me, and it's probably because I am an INSANE procrastinator and last week I actually worked myself into a panic because we only have a month or so left of school and when we get back from break there's only a week and a half before the majority of college applications are due and holy mother of god, what if I get nothing done and only wind up being accepted at FIU and have to live at home and get driven to class with by my mother? And what if I get in all my apps on time, but I don't get accepted anywhere?

And for that matter, where in god's name am I applying, for serious? Am I even going to get accepted to UVa, or UMd? Should I even bother applying when I know the chances of me actually attending are slim?

And what if I get rejected?

That's it. It's a month and six days until my 18th birthday, and that's it. No more growing up. I'ma stay 17.

I AM GOING TO DIE ON MY OWN!! Especially since I'm never going to get around to applying and will therefore just have to go live on a park bench in New York or something.

It's embarrassing enough as it is to be driven around by my mother, as my friends with cars are all lame and don't like me enough to give me rides. That's the reason I have no desire to drive, I know I'd never ever get a car. Ever.

And I'm going to die on my own, too. And potentially not get into college. Care to share your bench?

I actually have begun to suspect that the baby will be a boy exactly because we have a girl's name and not a boy's. They'll want to surprise us, right?
