So, I've been annotating Hamlet passages for orals, which is really smart and productive of me.

I saw the Love movie I've been dying to see on TV today. You know, the one on ABC family where she dies, but then the next day the boyfriend wakes up and it's the previous day all over again, so he gets to relive it and do it right and tell Love how much he loves her and he's like the poor man's Jude Law and lord knows I love Love and it was awesome. My sister and I watched it and enjoyed every second of it. Until the end. Because the end's just not right. Nice and justified and redeeming, but oh, lord. Sad.

(I'm avoiding Hamlet, I am. Saaaaave me from Hamlet.)

(I'm also very bored. Saaaave me, flist. I've no one to talk to.)

Ooh, I wanted to watch that movie! It looked charmingly mushy. I have always hearted Jennifer Love Hewitt. I could even forgive her for Ghost Whisperer, which is saying something.

Hamlet.

Emo.

That is all.

It was charmingly mushy! And I spent a good three-fourths of the movie going "oh my god, Love, you're so cute!" or, "I love Love!" Because I do.

Hamlet.

Pain.

The end.

I'm annotating a bunch of passages and I, in my infinite wisdom, thought it was a simply marvelous idea to sleep through every single Hamlet discussion we ever had in class. So now I'm kind of muddling along.

What's the prompt/idea for discussion that you're trying to find?

(If you EVER need help, I'm an expert at Hamlet). :-P

I have, like, ten passages. The whole thing is, on Wednesday I have an oral for my diploma. I have a 50% chance of getting one of ten Hamlet passages, so I'm supposed to have them analyzed so I don't flounder in the twenty minutes of prep time I have before I have to talk for ten minutes. So I'm just playing with the passages. Like, I'm pretty good at deciphering Shakespeare, it's just a lot more effort than I want to put forth.

But thanks for offering help, Mi. ;-)

Again, I'm one of the few nuts who loves Hamlet, so don't hesitate to ask! ;-)
