Woe Upon Your Cylon Heart!

So, I am currently miserably because the computer- well, not the computer, but the internet connections- are being retarded, and I am bitter as all.

I gave blood today. It was my first time and I had a horrible time.

Like, first it was fun. We got to miss Holmes, which I already hate, and it was me and Carol and Taylor and Venessa Figueroa and Pazos and we went down to the medical wing and we sat around, because we wanted to waste as much time as possible. Then I got a chocolate donut because yum.

Finally, Carol and I go in. We get our blood tested, and we were both good to go (turns out Taylor and Philly had iron-poor blood and couldn't) and then we both sat down. It took the people forever to come and set us up, which was bad, because I was just psyching myself out.

Anyway. They stick me with the needle, and it hurts like a bitch, but whatever. I sit there for a few minutes, and I start getting dizzy. Some guy comes over and asks me if I'm okay, and I tell him I feel light-headed, so he laid my bed down and put my feet up.

I spent the next hour completely dizzy, and nauseous. Doralys, who weighs 103 pounds, was getting her blood drawn in the next bed, and when she asked me how I was, I actually had to tell her I couldn't talk, because I couldn't think, and I was so nauseous... it was awful.

When they took out the needle, I got all clammy and hot. They told me to sip at my powerade and sit there and concentrate on breathing.

So, I missed the beginning of Scott and stayed there until I was only mildly dizzy, and then trekked to Scott's class. The stairs were super fun. I was like, *one step* *cling to rail* *one step*

But I saved four lives today, so I kind of figure my being sick is a small price to pay, and might do it again next time. Plus, I got pizza during lunch, and a bracelet and t-shirt and a donut and powerade...

It was a good day overall, though. I watched the scary scary Donnie Pfaster episode of XF... I am so glad Dana kills him. Because I was seriously concerned for her well-being because DONNIE IS THE SCARIEST PERSON EVER. And? His voice is waaaaaay melodious and hypnotic and SCARY and MASS MURDERER-y. I am so enamoured with my new layout still. Aiee.

I will be calm about my computer's connection sucking. I am caaaaaalm. Omm. Ommmmm.
