Two comments for tonight:

1- Community used about five ABBA songs, ending with Fernando. I don't think I need to say more, because I'm sure you all already know that my favorite song of all songs after Edelweiss is Fernando.

2- The Katee and Tricia Chat Hour is legitimately the best thing happening on the internet, especially when Katee is legit tipsy. ALSO THEY ARE CONSIDERING MAKING THIS A WEEKLY THING. I'm pretty sure my heart would burst from joy. I didn't know I could love Tricia more, or that I could love Katee this much.

Not much else is going on. I like to keep my LJ a happy place, and job-hunting is dismal and have I mentioned that I'm never going to get a job and am probably going to die on my parents' couch, useless and alone? Because I probably am! But whatever. The Sound of Music cast reunited earlier on Oprah, Katee and Tricia light up my life, and Tess and I get matching injuries because we're the same person in two countries. Life could be worse!

I will say this: the only reason I'm glad I'm not at NY Comic Con is because I'd be so incredibly broke right now (possibly into the minus column). Other than that, there is no end to my sadness.

So, in news that is not news at all, Katee Sackhoff and Tricia Helfer are absolutely adorable. I already mentioned their whole motorcycling for charity thing, but they now have a website for it, the acting outlaws. And I know that they probably didn't do too much of this themselves, but reading the little paragraphs, all I can picture is the two of them sitting around on laptops, testing out wording and phrases on one another, much like the way Melissa and I would write essays the night before they were due.

Says Sackhoff and Helfer, “On a quest to do our part to protect the earth and all its inhabitants, we sought a way to marry our love of the open road with our love of humanity. Welcome the Acting Outlaws.”

Like, come on. I bet they agonized over that. It's darling.

(Also, the Dark Blue season finale was the greatest, and I am deeply saddened that it's over. WHERE WILL I GET MY TRICIA FIX NOW, PRAY TELL?)

OPEN HOUSE. I'm pretty sure this is going to be the greatest movie ever. THE GREATEST.

Soo... I watched the Genius Club and, well. I watched it so that you didn't have to. You're welcome!

( I don't think God will be mad at me for finding this movie hilarious. At least, I hope not. )

So, because I'm most likely moving back home this August, and therefore canceling my personal Netflix account, I'm trying to rent things this summer that wouldn't be universally pleasing in my household, like films I want to watch solely because an actor I like is in them. So I'm on my queue, trying to find some special gems, and I find two Tricia films I have yet to see.

One is called "White Rush." There are four reviews on Netflix, and two of them say the same thing: the movie is terrible, but Tricia is, as always, a joy to behold.

Well, I say, of course I am adding this. And putting it to the top of my queue because I am always in the mood for some fine Tricia acting.

BUT THEN. But then I find this movie called The Genius Club, where, apparently, Tricia is a genius, kidnapped on Christmas Eve to prove God exists? Or something? IT WAS PRODUCED BY A SUPER CHRISTIAN MOVIE STUDIO OR SOMETHING. And again, there was at least one review like, this movie was trash but Tricia is great!

So the dilemma is this: which should I have take the #1 spot on my queue?

So, the upside is: I did see that Tricia Helfer is going to be on Two and a Half Men tonight.

The downside is: ... Goddammit, I have to watch Two and a Half Men. Again. TRICIA PLEASE GUEST STAR ON LIKE ANYTHING ELSE.

Note to self: DO NOT WATCH THINGS SOLELY BECAUSE THEY HAVE AN ACTOR YOU LIKE IN THEM. Watching the CSI episode where Tricia Helfer mutilates her own face is not good! You knew it was going to happen! You knew it was going to be bad! God!

(I am going to have nightmares now. Bad idea jeans!)

I was going to say that the Galacticization of my LJ is now complete, but upon reflection, it's really the Cylonification that is complete. I've got toasters all over my header and now my mood theme is all Six/Gaiused out (<3 <3 <3) and basically if my LJ died it would just wake up in a resurrection tub somewhere. This pleases me immensely.
